thought to hope to revelation

big post today:

first off, I've been having a few computer issues once again. This time it's the dreaded blue screen of death =[ Actually, I don't get the blue screen, which is why I didn't realise it was the BSOD, my computer just kinda chucks a spaz and dies. But yeah, after hunting through event logs, it's the BSOD. Had to do a few diagnostics around at techsupportforums, and so far all the hardware checks out, which is a relief. Fingers crossed that it's fixed ! ( we did a few things to help hopefully )

secondly, I suck at DDR =[ I feel so ashamed at my performance on tuesday, so terrible. I dunno if I have the heart to go the comp on thursday, but if I have no other plans I might go ( and watch).

The past week has been pretty good. Movie reviews!

Avatar 3D, was pretty amazing, well worth the money. It was good that I went with no expectations, plus I had no idea what it was about. 3D effects were soso for me...I guess it did add to the experience, but it hurt my eyes. When he jumped off a rock high in the sky and leapt for rope, my stomach sorta dropped. The story was alright, but was ruined by the cliche ending at the end =[ But definitely a must-see. Music wasn't bad either, listening to it now, quite a few epic moments.

Sherlock Holmes, was pretty entertaining. I heard it's pretty disappointing to people who've read the novels (let's face it, not many), but it was a good performance by Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) and Jude Law. I enjoyed the way they created the character Holmes, with his little quirks and super-insight to detail. Plot was meh, and the sequel became obvious when it was 10 minutes to finish and they hadn't solved the mystery professor. Overall, not bad. Music was composed by Hans Zimmerman, I recognised his style during the movie. =] (if you don't know, he's pretty awesome)

Reviewing Avatar reminds me that I didn't post anything for Julian Tang's birthday =[ we saw Avatar the same night we went out for his birthday. Took him to Hogs Breath, where I was shamed when I couldn't finish my plate when even MARCO did. T_T but it was his 21st, so happy birthday! sorry we couldn't do anything huge for you big guy!

Um...my sister's left for the UK =[ we took her to the airport on tuesday, and I'm feeling a bit sad that she's gone for so long. She's safely made it to the Uk just last night, and it's really cold haha. Anyway, hope she settles okay and she stays safe =]

Oh! I finish arranging my room. I think I'll wait til the next post though. It'll be a nice new year day post (hopefully)

Adding photos now... gay blogger won't let me move them around.

Happy New Year everyone.

merry christmas !

the above picture from christmas house lights hunting.

merry christmas, a day late. just a short blurry post from work. Just got up from my work nap.

yesterday, traditional christmas lunch. I think my mum loves cooking huge amounts of food, the domestic feeling. she gets us to invite friends over, this year it was my mostly my brother's church friends. got up at 8AM, and opened present with my family, then started cooking the 13-person meal...actually it was more than that, cause we have tons of leftovers.

anyway, we had a large ham leg my dad always gets from work, a turkey, roast vegetables, prawns, asparagus and then several desserts. it was quite a feast, and thanks to ling who came over and helped us eat. we also played scattergories afterwards, which I suck at, and ling tries to play too many illegal ones (like catepie for insects)

i'll post up pictures if I see any taken by my brother.

merry christmas everyone, hope everyone had a safe and fun filled celebration,

missing title.

allow me a little emo moment: heat + disappointment + tired = frustrated

you know how sometimes you can have a thought; and then that thought can turn into a hope; in which you hope so much, you use it as a foundation for more thoughts and hopes. but then the original thought is actually irrational, and then it all comes crashing down? (notice how it semi-relates to engineering harhar)

also, I hate the fact I'm such a needy friend. Some people tell me I'm a great organiser, or it's me who keeps groups together. It's not true at all. Other people are the heart of the group, regardless of what I do. In truth, I'm the one that needs my group more than they need me. That's why I'm always organising..cause I'm the one that always wants to get together.

I dunno, I feel sorta pathetic at the moment. And selfish.

where are the golden bananas?

I'm capped at home, so blogging at work is now the only option.

I've actually taken to hermiting due to gaming, which is good considering being capped means I'm reduced to offline things anyway. Along with Dragon Age Origins and Trine, I've also started up Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, which is actually pretty fun.
FPS war games have improved since the last one I've played (which was ages ago). This is more 'realistic' (as far as you can stretch that word in virtual games), involving more modern special operation forces and such. Pretty fun, I'm looking forward when someone cracks Modern Warfare 2 for me =] I suppose I'll do a proper game review soon, but for now, this will be a general update.

Last night was Li's and Jame's 20th birthday, at the Golden Monkey. Despite being designated driver for the night, it was a good time. Saw John Chen again, love that guy, spent a night with ann, finally saw hong randomly!, and of course the birthday boy lithium. It was, as was put by someone in my car, a mediocre night, but I found it quite enjoyable. Bartender Daniel was quite friendly, as most bartenders are, and mixed quite a few drinks for ann. I must say, it's expensive trying to get ann drunk, and I didn't even succeed.

Notes for future parties/21st: The venue was quite nice, just typical dim-lighting, decent level of music noise (no DJ, just overhead) and drinks were expensive as usual. Hong missed the dance floor, which is a fair point and might be a deal breaker for some. The whole place was booked out, and it tended to break people into their groups instead of mixing. Wouldn't consider it for mine.

It was also exciting/stressful to drive into the city, since it was the first time. Driving in was nice, no stress, ann was a good co-pilot. However, driving back out was annoying for three points: city looks the same every road I take, the roads are too hardcore (see below), and matt didn't shut up about alternate routes! =P I drove home with 3 drunks in the back, matt, guo and hong.

what I mean by hardcore roads is that there were no guidelines or shown on the road, probably due to the tram lines. but still, I miss my noob white lines =[ and even the round abouts are huge. Reminds me of the magic roundabouts we got taught in engineering (google magic roundabout swindon).

btw, hong has over 40 readers on her blog =_= I'm pretty sure I only have like 3. Takes off the pressure of blogging though =D

the following posts will be a review of my new keyboard/mouse and some games =]

born as love, twisted by fate, what do I speak of?

yesterday was a really nice day to be lazy.

well sort of anyway, I still woke up at 6am to go the gym with my dad. But because I was so tired after it, I came back, showered and slept til like 12. Ahhh I sorta woke up at ~10-30, but I just sorta laid in bed. The pita-pata of rain was so soothing and the usually dull grey sky felt sort of sublime to me at the point....*sigh

went to work place's christmas bbq last sunday. The weather was so awesome. It was a bit muggy in the morning when I went to work, but it cleared up to be a beautiful day. We just sorta lazed about, sitting the shade, meeting people's family. It was quite fun.
one of the boys brought a remote control aeroplane, it was pretty cool...until it flew into a tree =D

recently been playing Dragon Age Origins. One of the best RPG's I've played so far, nearing up there with final fantasy. Genre is right up my alley, and the game system is based off Mass Effect (another great game). Bioware is really doing well for itself in this area.

I'm also slowly rearranging my whole room. Almost there, I'll take photos of it when it's fully done. Still got to deal with some clothes and bring in my printer from the apartment. I've lightened up my bookshelf by storing a few non-star wars books away. But if you don't know why I'm known as a the crazy jedi here's why:

and this isn't including the various fact files, visual dictionaries, magazines, comics etc. ahahahah. one day I'll get around to valuing it all to see how much I've spent..but I'll never sell!

teoh,

p.s how come i didn't have a star wars tag already..

tang / uni results

posting in the early morning is not something I want to be a habit. Was almost late to work, just rolled out of bed and ran to the car, changing, brushing teeth and grabbing a bowl for 2min noodles on the way. ugh.

first off, happy birthday janice tang =] finially 19, man so young still. hope you have a great day, sleeping in, eating lots of food, napping, eating more food etc.

second off, uni results came out thursday night. I was really surprised how high the scores were:
computing: 94, geo: 69, concrete: 75, traffic: 75
I was really expecting P's C's, even maybe a fail. I really wish they had slapped me somehow though. I didn't really study that well this semester, and I can't help feeling a little invincible. My studying has slowly degrading, and yet I haven't failed anything yet. So the whole cycle will begin next year.

anyway, horrah to passing everything =]

for hong

blogging from work, cause it's a bit quiet at the moment. been up since 530AM and feeling it. we're watching the lion king in between breaks, but I think we're going to busy soon...

just took a institute call...what are kids doing at 9AM doing online training for target =_= on holidays too.

anyway, this post is for hong, because she insists that we should be blogging thrice a week. A very unlikely prospect in my opinion. especially since the holidays are so boring and I have nothing to blog about. Our group seems to be really out of sync...just unable to get together. I've given up trying get us together...Jason's leaving next week already, so we don't wont have much of a group until Feb.

um..so yeah. my holiday to do list is failing.

I started this at like 8AM...it's not 12:38PM. Talk about work rush =_= it's sooo busy, so I'm going to end it here for now. What a great post. Not even going to tag it lol.

surprisingly nothing

holidays are off to a slow start.

computer is up and running =] I don't think I'll make a computer again for awhile..it's very stressful not knowing if all the parts are working (especially when you're buying it dirt cheap for dodgy places like MSY and CPL). Took an hour to put together, another 2 hours to find out that we hadn't put the CPU fan in properly, hence rendering the whole thing useless. Huge thanks to my workmate Greg who helped out. Sorry I didn't take part by part pictures, but I was too stressed at the time.

Playing Crysis Warhead atm, the graphics are pretty nice.

Besides that though...nothing much to report. DDR tomorrow should be good, although me and ling are waaay out of fitness. On that note, I'm going to the gym with my dad on wednesday. Working alot...work was stressful today T_T and on that note, I'm going to go shoot things.

say what!?

ON HOLIDAYS, THAT'S WHAT.

Yeah that's right, I'll be taking down the dreaded exam box as soon as I finish posting. Sheesh, what an exam period. Went on for a million years. The exams were pretty tough too, worst than last semester (or did I study less this semester..?). I'll have a cry post on the 4th dec no doubt.

Wish Amanda and Tim the best with their long trips. Miss you both. Amanda's got a blog up, dunno how often she'll update though lol : Inexperienced_blogger

Anyhow, onto the future. Time to address that holiday to do list! First things first, gathering PC parts for my computer. At the same time, I'll be looking for a laptop for my sister.
Once that's all done, I'll move onto formatting and selling off my current laptop, as well as looking into TPG. Now that I'll be staying home next year, 12 gigs between me and my brother is not enough hahaha.

Just bought 700 dollars worth of parts from MSY and CPL. Here's to really hoping the motherboard is ok, otherwise it'll be the fight of my life trying to get it returned to CPL (apparently they're CRAP, but they were the only ones that had it). Here are my specs for any computer geeks reading this (which would be none I'm assuming...for my own benefit then!):

CPU: Intel Core i5 750
MOBO: Gigabyte P55A-UD3P
RAM: G.skills Jawrip 4GB Kit
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
GPU: Gigabyte 1GB ATI Radeon HD5850
Case: Lian Li Lancool PC-K62
PSU: Antec True Power 650
ODD: Sony-NEC Optiarc AD-7240S

I'm pretty excited to put it altogether and get it working. I've already gotten Win7 from uni for FREE, so I'm excited to start all over again (just like formatting..)

more to come as I settle in the holidays,

teoh.

saying the g word

It's sad when you have to say goodbye to people; it's even worse when you don't get to see them one more time to say goodbye. recently two friends at work left and I didn't get to say goodbye to either of them. Such a pity, cause they were both decent people.

In particular, the security guard mannie was a really good guy, I used to go out and spend my breaks having conversations with him. He got a really good job offer in something he wanted to do up in the gold coast, so I think he's just moved up there now. I wish him all the best with his new life up there, and who knows maybe we'll meet again.

Ruban was also a decent workmate, one of the more know how tech guys at work. He was different to talk to, but definitely very smart. I also didn't get to see him before left, but I also wish him the best with his future.

T___T hate it when people move away. I remember I was so sad when my friend jenny (who I met up again in uni! so cool) left in primary school. grateful for the friends I have now.

DIE EXAMS DIE DIE DIE.
Edit: This is harliarious, got it from work:

NEW YORK - Idaho resident Kathy Evans brought humiliation to her friends and family Tuesday when she set a new standard for stupidity with her appearance on the popular TV show, 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.'It seems that Evans, a 32-year-old wife and mother of two, got stuck on the first question, and proceeded to make what fans of the show are dubbing 'the absolute worst use of lifelines ever.'

After being introduced to the show's host Meredith Vieira, Evans assured her that she was ready to play, whereupon she was posed with an extremely easy $100 question. The question was: 'Which of the following is the largest?'A) A PeanutB) An ElephantC) The MoonD) Hey, who you calling large?
Immediately Mrs. Evans was struck with an all consuming panic as she realized that this was a question to which she did not readily know the answer.'Hmm, oh boy, that's a toughie,' said Evans, as Vieira did her level best to hide her disbelief and disgust. 'I mean, I'm sure I've heard of some of these things before, but I have no idea how large they would be.'Evans made the decision to use the first of her three lifelines, the 50/50. Answers A and D were removed, leaving her to decide which was bigger, an elephant or the moon. However, faced with an incredibly easy question, Evans still remained unsure.'Oh! It removed the two I was leaning towards!' exclaimed Evans. 'Darn. I think I better phone a friend.'

Using the second of her two lifelines on the first question, Mrs. Evans asked to be connected with her friend Betsy, who is an office assistant.'Hi Betsy! How are you? This is Kathy! I'm on TV!' said Evans, wasting the first seven seconds of her call. 'Ok, I got an important question. Which of the following is the largest? B, an elephant, or C, the moon. 15 seconds hun.'Betsy quickly replied that the answer was C, the moon. Evans proceeded to argue with her friend for the remaining ten seconds.'Come on Betsy, are you sure?' said Evans. 'How sure are you? Duh, that can't be it.

'To everyone's astonishment, the moronic Evans declined to take her friend's advice and pick 'The Moon.''I just don't know if I can trust Betsy. She's not all that bright. So I think I'd like to ask the audience,' said Evans.Asked to vote on the correct answer, the audience returned 98% in favor of answer C, 'The Moon.'

Having used up all her lifelines, Evans then made the dumbest choice of her life.'Wow, seems like everybody is against what I'm thinking,' said the too-stupid-to-live Evans. 'But you know, sometimes you just got to go with your gut. So, let's see. For which is larger, an elephant or the moon, I'm going to have to go with B, an elephant. Final answer.'Evans sat before the dumbfounded audience, the only one waiting with bated breath, and was told that she was wrong, and that the answer was in fact, C, 'The Moon.'

If you get stuck on an exam questions, some of these might inspire you the answer...forwarded on from my dad, they're surprisingly funny.

I don't like green eggs and ham.

Nor do I like this present seasonal effects!

Don't get me wrong, I like the sun. It lets go to the BEACH, parks, play sport outside, BEACH, can go out without worrying about rain (obviously), oh did I mention BEACH!? But seriously. We go to the beach maybe 3 times, and you're bound to get sick of it.

I just returned from a walk around the lake...and I upon returning home, I immediately regretted venturing outside.

1. Eyes were streaming with tears from rubbing due to eXtreme itchiness.
2. Nose was completely running due to excessive sneezing
3. Rash was playing up along my leg and arms. An itchy one.
4. Something bit my finger, causing it to swell to HUGE proportions. I would take a photo, but I wouldn't be able to fit it in the one shot. I hope whatever bit me CHOKES ON MY BLOOD.

Addition to increased insect activity, sporadic days of extreme heat (which isn't helping my studies), ARGH I dunno, I think I'm more a fan of winter.

Or maybe I'm just being whiny. (or maybe I'm right..(or maybe..))
\\edit I think I had a complain about summer last year on thelooop. Things never change!

and so it begins.

Last post for awhile I suppose...I didn't want to neglect my blog completely thought. So a quick update before going back to my panicked studying.

Last sunday my family and I went to J's Surf and Turf, a little shop near Brighton beach. It's basically and all you can eat err...not really a restaurant. Picture two fish and chip shops side by side, and get rid of the wall between them. So it's not the prettiest place to eat, but boy is there a lot of food. It's $28 bucks per person, so make sure you go with people who can really eat (dave, janice, looking at you two)

Like I said, toooons of food. We didn't know what to order, so we got the waitress to rattle off good things to try. And cause it's all you can eat, we just ordered everything she said. So we ended up with a ton of food on our table. I especially liked the fried chicken (KFC, you should do it like they do!) and the tempura stuff.

Anyway, more importantly we had some rare family time. We went to Brighton beach afterwards, where we mucked around and took photos. The sut setting was very nice and it was a fun outing all around, especially before exams.

First exam tomorrow! I'm feeling a bit calmer about it after studying a bit. Hopefully it goes ok. Today marks 21 days until exams finish. 3 weeks seem like aaaaages. I'll post again before it's over..it's simply too long just to study full pelt. I'm pretty sure I'm going to burn out before then.

good luck once again, especially to my civil buddies tomorrow.

just the way things go

exams are nearing!

pretty close actually, just a bit over two weeks for me. exam timetable: 29th concrete, 10th traffic, 11th computing, 18th geo. Pretty nice spread, but at the same time it's going to make me study for week!? (the question mark is disbelieving)

I'm pretty flustered at the moment, so I'm taking the time to write a blog post to iron it all out. Breathing in...breathing out...

Uni assignments are still going on =_= most of them will be finished this friday, but still have TWO presentations next week. Crazy lecturers! Give us a break, need time to study. Hopefully I've still retained some oral skills from the past (haven't done a presentation in ages), so I won't put too much prep into it.

I've got two birthday things coming up, one of them a 21st. Probably can only afford part attendance in them, which sucks, but that's how it is during exams I guess. They're right after each other too, so I'll feel way to guilty if I go to both for long.

Also have my ISV trip to finish planning. Got the final invoice, total'd up to a whopping 4k, from the initial 3k estimate. But it should be worth it hopefully. Still need to get my passport, some paperwork and insurance to finish though, ugh.

Just gotta balance in studying with all this and work as well. I hate exam time, you just feel like anything you do, you could be studying (even if you really wouldn't). the 18th can't come fast enough!

You'll see I'm keeping a holiday list on the side. Funny how you always think of things to do at the peak time you shouldn't be. =]

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE. See you on the other side.

the korean phase.

I've resisted this post for awhile, but I think it must come out.

So I don't know when exactly this whole korean phase started..I know it probably started from timothy, but he's not by far the worst at the moment (more to that later (you know who I'm talking about)). Anyway, I got exposed to it first up in Queensland, on our lazy day we were just showing each other youtube clips; one of them was SNSD genie.

And now, to my shame, I have become a fan. Even as I write this, I have dedicated my first GB of internet usage downloading away cute dances, and pretty faces. (I just saw Yuri moonwalk :O)

Let me just justify myself here a bit. I haven't gotten into korean music. Nor am I a perve! I only like SNSD because the girls are pretty. They aren't slutty (although they show off their legs a lot, BUT I know plenty of girls who would say, if I had them so would I!). And somehow I find myself hitting replay on youtube and catching myself shuffling towards the kitchen in a terrible replica of their dance moves.

For the record, this is all jason's fault. But, if I ever get as sad as him (as seen on his blog and facebook):
please shoot me.

skittles awaaaay

just wanted to see what blogging at 2 am turn out to be. (edit: added some amusing pictures of myself...i don't know what happened in the first one but its hilarious LOL)

just got back from celebrating loretta's 21st, from my baker's delight group. I can't believe I half didn't want to go, and couldn't be bothered wanting to catch trains in and out. It was SO WORTH IT. I think I've gotten laziness syndrome.

we went to Precinct in richmond, cause lor's new living town house is there. Half way there, I remembered that I had to wear 'dressy' shoes, else they wouldn't let me in..and of course I was wearing my chucks. So I got my dad to swap shoes with me LOL and hey, it worked out okay except a few blisters.

it's actually a nice place, separate areas for bar, lounge and dance floor. We hung out in all three, it was awesome. DRINK COUNT: 3 skittlebombs (SO GOOD), 1 light beer (disgusting) 1 vodka shot (fire in my mouth again!) 2 and a bit of Smirnoffs. I got the heavy head again, but I thought I did pretty well tonight! Getting better hopefully.

I don't know what's so different about going out with my baker crew...I should feel more comfortable letting go with my usual group, but somehow I don't. I can dance and look like a complete fool and not care with the baker group, and they make me feel OK! I love hanging out with them, all the girls are beautiful and all the guys are awesome (not to say my usual group isn't ;D) Can't wait til the next time we go out!

crash burn and die time. I will update this posts when pictures go up on facebook. There are some embarrassing ones I think.

leadership

I just finished watching/skipping through Defiance again.

I really love movies that are about rebel groups, fighting against the bigger aggressor. Even better when it's about real survival stories, like this one was; World War II, the hero of the movie Tuvia Bielski is Jew, who helped saved over 1200 Jews by hiding out in the forests against the Germans. The movie depicted the constant dangers and hardships the group had to fight through; the winter cold, constantly being hunted, food, internal conflicts etc. and how Tuvia was shaped into a awesome leader. It's quite a good movie, I recommend it when you're bored in the holidays.

Anyway, I wanted to focus on theme leadership in this movie. Being a leader is something I always both aspired to and at the same time, did not want to become. It's defined as the ability in a person to lead, guide or/and direct, but it can be so much more depending on the situation.

Once in a movie, there was a few select men felt that they deserved more food because they were the ones that risked their lives to gather it. They forcefully took more food, despite resistance from others. Tuvia had to somehow defuse it, and punished them by giving them half rations. The issue rose again, but this time the men went a step further by using force to subdue a few loyal followers. Tuvia simply shot the leader of the group.

Now my thought at the moment is whether or not at this point, did Tuvia become a tyrant? True, the men were wrong to use force, but they weren't particularly in the wrong to request more food. But if Tuvia allowed them more food, would some other of the camp request more food, leading into a food crisis. Morale would drop with less food, and people would be forced to desert the camp.

I'm very keen to keep in mind that this perspective was shown from a movie point of view, so it might've not kept all the realism in the situation. Tuvia was probably not the awesome leader he was in the movie, but no doubt he did perform some great acts to save those lives.

might come back to this later,

teoh

sydney trip

update time! just got back from sydney trip with my good friend marco.

first of all, sydney airport/tiger airways conspired together to delay us aaaaall the way through our trip. We had like 3 delays all up. First departure, was delayed like half an hour to board, and then was held up in the air in holding pattern for another half an hour before we landed. We were almost late to the concert!

Anyhow, the concert was awesome! In terms of content and variety, it was way better than the years before. They had a few games and anime I've never heard of, and some of them I sorta zoned out on, but there were some that were impressive. Some new arrangements of old favourites (ala laputa, shadow of colossus, metal gear solid encore) were simply AWESOME and renewed those songs in my mind. Gonna go dig some of them up asap.

Three things that disappointed me/us. The Sydney Entertainment Center was quite large inside, so I think they had to electronically amplify the orchestra...and it didn't sound as great as I wanted it to be. Sometimes it didn't sound live at all. Second, bloody camera men kept walking in and out. GO AWAY. And third, we only got three signatures per poster at the signings after cause they were running late =[ I usually get everyone's at every concert.. ><

This was our 'cell' that we lived in that night. The fat bald man at the reception said only three things. 'Paper', 'Room 105', 'Checking out?'. No hello, how are you, nothing. That's what you get from a backpacker's hotel. Apparently we had some noisy drunk girls next door too, but I'm a heavy sleeper :D

Sunday morning was a really nice sunny day, albeit windy. We visited Hyde Park and Royal Botanical Gardens on the way to the bridge and opera house. We looked around the city after that and I've come to this conclusion: sydney city is just like melbourne's except it's dirter, rougher and the people are less friendlier. Even McDonalds, the staff sucked, no greetings or anything, bathroom was filthy, smelt like vomit...bah. Not a fan of sydney to be honest now.
Anyway, that'll do for now. The pictures will make this post slightly long. Thanks for coming along marco, it was a good experience! I sense an exciting new update coming soon =]

sleep and sleep

happy birthday (on tuesday) tim! great fun, reminded me of the good old times in high school.

I'm really tired this weekend. I only had four hours of sleep on the saturday morning, since we played hats until late and then work in the morning. Spent the whole afternoon sleeping, woke up and didn't have the energy to get into the city for my workmate's outing. Sorry Lucky >< Then I slept some more.

Yeah, I'm in the mental state where I can't really write anything interesting just yet. Maybe next time.

here's something you don't see everyday:

you know, it's hard to complete a computing project, when it's crashing your computer every 10 minutes. damn this project, it's too CPU intensive for my poor humble sony laptop.

would really like a quad core right now. and a dual screen. and some nice speakers, with the doof doof and the dosh dosh...

just finished blitzing a 3000 word essay over two days, with much success. unfortunately it means I've degraded my eyes a few more points; been staring at a computer for over 20 hours in total over the weekend.

my dad has gone to denmark and france for two weeks, so we did the usual car bump which means I have a car this week to get me around to work and such. Nothing terribly exciting, but it still helps improve my mood.

this week has a few exciting things planned; meeting up with ann who I haven't seen in a long time, just to take a break from assignments etc. going to chaddy to buy some clothes I suppose, birthday dinner on friday and workmate's bday outing on saturday night!

also, the best thing yet, my noisy Indian neighbors upstairs have moved out! Actually, in the process of moving out, they're still passing my window carrying boxes and luggage. Most awesome thing yet!

satisfaction

today was tuesday, my day off from everything,
free for any commitments I choose to commit.

today I slept in, but still got to uni by 10:40am,
I met up with uni friends and did productive uni work.

today I met up with friends lillian and quor,
had fun hanging out in general (as always!)

today I spent no money cause I starved myself until 4PM,
then ate ravenously when I cooked lunch at home.

today I did my exercise, relaxed, and then proudly cooked a proper dinner.

today was satisfying. truly.

thinking thoughts

Have you ever thought something that is forbidden? Unmoral? Selfish? Things that you shouldn't, but you do. Things that you shouldn't even consider, and it scares you that you do. And I'm not talking about sexual stuff. >.>

I had a thought of taking advantage of friend...and I was so shocked that I had it, that I immediately did the exact opposite of it, as strongly as I could. But I'm still shocked that I had the thought.

Do you believe in people having a dark and light side in them? I do. I think we're always battling ourselves inside, struggling to do what is right.
and end rambling. why am i so moody all the time...

caution: fireinmymouth

"Vodka as with any alcohol consumed in sufficient amounts can be lethal by inducing respiratory failure and/or unguarded inhalation of vomitus by a comatose drunk person." - wikipedia

Yeah I believe it after having a shot of it... man did it light my mouth on fire.

(dangerous activity of drinking and watching people dance was located at loulou's, knox ozone on saturday night, get together with some high school friends)

okamiden~

how cute does this game look? If you've seen the original okami game, I'm sure you'll agree it's very cute. And the music reminds me of how good the soundtrack was. Hopefully we'll get to see more of this in Sydney marco!

activating blogcron.

What is this teohcron:
It's my own made up word creation that stands for a teoh's chronicles. It will be a storage for my daily thoughts, events, questions, out bursts and many random things. It is both for readers (if any) but mostly for myself, a record keep of my life as I go along.

Feel free to read along, drop in now and then, comment anywhere, leave a message on the soon-to-be chatbox or ignore it completely.

This teohcron is in it's earliest stages of development so it might look a bit rough at the moment, but it'll get there. I'm happy enough to get it at this stage, kudos to xuan for helping out during the frustrating times.

teoh,
